Bu çalışmanın amacıöğretmenlerin okullarındaki yaşam kalitesine ilişkin algıları ile meslekimotivasyon düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada ele alınan bu iki değişkenöğretmenlerin cinsiyeti, kıdemi ve mezun olduğu okul türü bakımındanincelenmiştir. Daha sonra öğretmenlerin okul yaşam kalitesi algıları ilemesleki motivasyon düzeyleri arasındaki istatistiksel ilişkilerirdelenmiştir. Katılımcılar Adana ilmerkezinde yer alan beş ilkokulda görev yapan 134 öğretmendir. Okul YaşamKalitesi Ölçeği ile İlkokul Öğretmeni Motivasyon Ölçeği kullanılarak toplananverilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler incelenmiş, t-testi, tek yönlüvaryans, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda,öğretmenlerin okul yaşam kalitesi algılarının orta düzeyde, motivasyondüzeylerinin ise ortanın hafif üzerinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada cinsiyetegöre anlamlı fark bulunmamışken, öğretmenlerin okul yaşam kalitesi algılarındakıdeme göre anlamlı farklar bulunmuştur. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin okul yaşamkalitesi algıları ile mesleki motivasyon düzeyleri arasında pozitif yöndeanlamlı ilişkiler bulunduğu ve OYKÖ puanlarının öğretmen motivasyonunu anlamlıbir şekilde yordadığı belirlenmiştir
The purpose of this study is to examine the teachers'perceptions of the quality of life in schools and their level of professionalmotivation. These two variables considered in the study were examined in termsof the gender and seniority of the teachers, and the type of school theygraduated from. Then statistical relations between teachers' perceptions ofschool quality of life and levels of professional motivation were examined. Participants are 134 teachers who work in five primary schools locatedin the city center of Adana. Descriptive statistics were analyzed in the datacollected using the Quality of School Life Scale and Primary School TeacherMotivation Scale, and t-test, one-way variance, correlation and regressionanalyzes were performed. As a result of the analyses, it was determined thatteachers' school life quality perceptions were moderate and their motivationlevels were slightly above median. Significant differences were found in theteachers' school life quality perceptions compared to the seniority, while nosignificant difference was found in the study by sex. It was also found thatthere was a significant positive correlation between teachers' perceptions ofschool quality of life and levels of professional motivation, and QSLS scoressignificantly predicted teacher motivation
