Giventhe growing international trade volume in the globalizing world economy, it isforeseen that technological development will have considerable influence in theinternational trade and economic growth of countries. In this respect, it isimportant to study the impact of technological developments of countries on theexport of technological products and the extent to which the export oftechnological products will contribute to the economic growth of the countries.This study will first tried to put forward the impact on trade of technologicalproducts of technological developments emerged in Turkey. Furthermore, the mainobjective of the study is that technological products trade to economic growthof Turkey is identified which sectors that contribute more. Thus, hightechnology sectors that contribute most to economic growth in Turkey will bedetermined andin order to raise the welfare level of Turkey more quickly in thedetected sectors specializing aims to increase the technological productstrade. According to results of analyzes, specialization of exports of chemicalindustry, electrical machinery and apparatus industry, armament industry,electronics and communications industry and scientific instruments industry as high-techsectors have been determined that further increased the level of economicgrowth in Turkey. |

Küreselleşendünya ekonomisinde uluslararası ticaret hacminin giderek yükselmesi dikkatealındığında, teknolojik gelişmenin ülkelerin uluslararası ticaretlerinde veekonomik büyümelerinde önemli derecede etkiye sahip olacağı öngörülmektedir. Budoğrultuda, ülkelerin teknolojik gelişmelerinin teknolojik ürün ihracatına olanetkisini ve hangi sektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ihracatının ülkelerin ekonomikbüyümelerine daha etkin şekilde katkı sağlayacağını ortaya koyacak çalışmalarönem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’de sektörel olarak yüksekteknolojili ürün ticareti ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiaraştırılacaktır. Bununla birlikte çalışmanın ana hedefi, Türkiye’nin hangisektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ticaretinin ekonomik büyümeye daha fazla katkısağladığının tespit edilmesidir. Böylelikle, Türkiye’de ekonomik büyümeye ençok katkı sağlayan yüksek teknoloji sektörleri belirlenecektir. Çalışmakapsamında gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda, Türkiye’nin yüksek teknolojisektörlerinden sırasıyla kimya endüstrisi, elektrik makineleri ve aparatlarıendüstrisi, silah sanayi, elektronik ve haberleşme endüstrisi ve bilimselaraçlar endüstrisi ihracatlarında uzmanlaşması durumunda ekonomik büyümedüzeyinin daha fazla arttığı tespit edilmiştir. |
