dc.descriptionThe aim of this study is to examine whether the coups d’état in Turkey had impacts on populationpolicy beginning from 1923 till up to the 2000s. The study is a literature review and covers theperiods between 1923-1961, 1961-1982 and 1982-2000. The study asserts that global forces andcoups d’état are determinant on population which is a contemporary debate topic and possessingstrategic importance alongside with security-economic-political-sociological dimension. Theexternal intervention of the population-oriented processes is not welcomed from the social pointof view and the implementation of such policies affecting the whole society by coups d’étatinstead of civil politics has created a separate problem area. Since the society was not acceptedthe population policies that the coup administrations want to implement right after thedisappearance of the civil administration which provides the connection between the people andthe state.
dc.descriptionÇalışma ile amaçlanan; Türkiye’de yaşanan askeri darbelerin nüfus politikası üzerinde etkilerinin olup olmadığının 1923 yılından 2000’li yıllara kadar olan dönemde incelenmesidir. Çalışma 1923-1961 arası, 1961-1982 arası ve 1982-2000 arası dönemleri ele almaktadır. Çalışma literatür taraması yapılarak oluşturulmuştur. Nüfus gibi stratejik, güncel tartışmalara konu olan ve güvenlik –ekonomi-siyaset-sosyolojik boyutu bulunan bir konuda, küresel güçlerin ve askeri darbelerin çok belirleyici olduğunu belirlemeye yöneliktir. Nüfusa yönelik süreçlere dışarıdan müdahale edilmesi toplumsal açıdan hoş karşılanmamış, toplumun genelini etkileyecek bu tür politikaların sivil siyasetle değil, askeri darbelerce yürütülmesi ayrı bir sorun alanı oluşturmuştur. Çünkü halk ile devlet arasındaki bağlantıyı sağlayan sivil yönetimin ortadan kalkmasıyla birlikte, toplum tarafından kabul görmediği anlaşılmaktadır.
