The purpose of this study is to examine whether the job satisfaction level of secondary education teachers differ in terms of some variables. The sample is consisted of 526 teachers in secondary education in the central province of Aydin. Hackman and Oldham Job Satisfaction Scale, and personal Information Form, which was consisted of demographic characteristics and  the views of teachers', including a list of open-ended question, was used. The data obtained were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA. As a result, teachers' job satisfaction levels showed significant differences according to age, type of school they work and the views of teachers about the school's physical conditions, relationships with colleagues at the school, the renewed secondary education curriculum, examination system,  level of participation in in-service training. In the study, some solutions are made for teachers in order to increase job satisfaction.     Key Words: Job Satisfaction, Secondary School, Teacher, Hackman ve Oldham
