dc.descriptionThe Accounting professional ethics guidelines have been developed to standardize professional practices and toprotect the reputation of the profession. Ethical rules are an important element in fulfilling the socialresponsibility of the accountant. The aim of study is to determine the perspectives of professional accountants onthe practice of professional ethics. In the study, accounting profession ethics was conceptually considered andafter the emphasis of profession ethics was emphasized, the process of development of professional ethics ruleswas explained. To reach this goal, a survey-base study has been done on profession members working in thewest Mediterranean Region. The data has been tested with various statistical methods and the results of attitudeson occupational ethics of professionals have been evaluated.
dc.descriptionMuhasebe meslek etiği kuralları, mesleki uygulamalarıstandartlaştırmak ve mesleğin itibarını korumak amacıyla geliştirilmiştir. Etikkurallar, muhasebenin sosyal sorumluluğunun yerine getirilmesinde önemli birunsurdur. Çalışmanın amacı,muhasebe meslek mensuplarının,  mesleketiği uygulamalarına bakış açılarının tespit etmektir. Çalışmada, muhasebemeslek etiği kavramsal olarak ele alınmış, meslek etiğinin önemi vurgulandıktansonra, meslek etik kurallarının gelişim süreçleri açıklanmıştır. Amaç doğrultusunda BatıAkdeniz Bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren, meslek mensuplarına yönelik ankete dayalıbir araştırma yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, istatistikî metotlarla testedilmiş, muhasebe meslek mensuplarının muhasebe meslek etiği uygulamalarınabakış açıları ile ilgili sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir.
