“Arap Bahan’nın nasıl gelişeceği, yönünün nasıl seyredeceği, daha da önemlisi hangi sonuçları doğuracağı oldukça önemlidir. Bu yüzden “Arap Baharı”nı anlamak için özellikle Osmanlı Devleti’nin sona ermesinden bugüne söz konusu coğrafyada yaşanan önemli siyasi dalgaların dikkatle incelenmesini gerekmektedir. Bu noktada, Arap Orta Doğusu’nda 1950 ve 1960’lı yıllarda yaşanan Arap Devrimlerinin özellikleri ve nasıl sonuçlandığı “Arap Baharı”nın anlamını ve yönünü anlamada faydalı olacağı aşikârdır. Çünkü “Arap Baharı”nm yönü ve neden olacağı sonuçlar, sadece Arap Orta Doğusu’nu değil aynı zamanda tüm bölgeyi ve uluslararası siyaseti derinden etkileyebilecek potansiyele sahip gözükmektedir. Bu amaçtan hareketle, yazıda 1950 ve 1960’lı yıllardaki Arap devrimlerinin temel özellikleri ve sonuçları ele alınarak, “Arap Baharı” anlaşılmaya çalışıldı. Sonuçta her devrimde olduğu gibi “Arap Baharı”nm da zamanın ruhuna uygun olarak önceki devrimlerden farklılıklar içerdiği anlaşılmaktadır. Daha şimdiden Arap Orta Doğusu’nda meydana gelen halk hareketleri “Arap Baharı” olarak tanımlansa da önünde çok ciddi engellerin olduğu görülmektedir. How the Arab Spring develops, and what course it follows, and more importantly what consequences it will lead to are very significant. Therefore, in order to understand the Arab Spring it is required to analyze the important political waves in the region from the end of the Ottoman Empire to present. It is clear that the characteristics and the consequences of the Arab Revolutions of the 1950s and 1960s in the Arab Middle East contribute to understand the meaning and direction of the Arab Spring, since the direction and the consequences of the Arab Spring have the potential to heavily influence not only the Arab Middle East, but also the whole region and international politics. From this point of view, this study tries to examine the Arab Spring through a discussion of the basic characteristics and the results of the Arab revolutions in the 1950s and 1960s. It is understood that the Arab Spring, like all other revolutions in the region, has its own unique characteristics, and differ from the previous ones depending on the requirements of the age. Even though the popular movements of the Middle East would be defined as the Arab Spring, the study concludes that the Arap Spring appears, even from now, to have many obstacles in the future. |
