dc.descriptionDoğrudan yabancı yatırımların ev sahibi ülkelere kattıkları bir çok fayda mevcuttur. Özellikledoğrudan yabancı yatırımlar gelişmekte olan ülkelere üretim için gerekli sermaye birikimi, bilgive yönetimsel beceri, teknolojik altyapı ve kullanım yetkinlikleri sağlamaktadır. Doğrudanyabancı yatırımların bu faydalarının yanında ev sahibi ülkelerin ihracat ürün sepetine de olumlukatkı sağlaması beklenir. Ancak yapılan literatür incelemesi neticesinde doğrudan yabancıyatırımların ev sahibi ülkelerin ihracat ürün çeşitliliğine etkisini inceleyen yeterli çalışmaolmadığı görülmüştür. Bu nedenle, Doğrudan yabancı yatırımların Türkiye’deki ihracat ürünçeşitlendirmesi üzerindeki etkisi, Vektör Otoregresif (VAR) Analizi metodu ile incelenmiştir.Ampirik analiz sonuçları, doğrudan yabancı yatırımların ihracat ürün çeşitliliğini etkilemediğinigöstermiştir. Varyans ayrıştırma analizi sonuçlarına göre dışa açıklığı ihracat ürünçeşitlendirmesine önemli katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.
dc.descriptionThere are many benefits of foreign direct investment to the host countries. Especially foreigndirect investment provides developing countries with the necessary capital accumulation,knowledge and managerial skills, technological infrastructure and usage competencies requiredfor production. In addition to these benefits, foreign direct investment is expected to contributepositively to the export product basket of host countries. However, as a result of the literaturereview, it is observed that there are not enough studies examining the effects of foreign directinvestments on the export product diversification of host countries. Therefore, the effect offoreign direct investments of export product diversification was examined by using VectorAutoregressive (VAR) method in a case study for Turkey. The results of the empirical analysisshowed that foreign direct investment does not affect export product diversification. Accordingto the results of variance decomposition analysis, it was determined that trade opennesscontributed significantly to export product diversification.
