dc.descriptionİçtenyanmalı motorlardan kaynaklanan egzoz emisyonları çevreye ve insan sağlığına enfazla zarar veren faktörlerden birisidir. Dünyada hızlı bir şekilde artan araçsayısı ile taşıt kaynaklı egzoz emisyonları çok ciddi problemlere yolaçmaktadır. Atmosfere salınan egzoz emisyonlarının kontrol edilememesi dünyanınyaşanmaz bir hale gelmesine neden olacaktır. Bu noktada, egzoz emisyonstandartlarının gittikçe sınırlandırılması, araştırmacıları ve motorüreticilerini taşıt kaynaklı egzoz emisyonların azaltılmasında kullanılabileceksistemleri geliştirmeye yöneltmektedir. Bu çalışmada taşıtlardan kaynaklananegzoz emisyonları tarif edilerek, bu gazların azaltılma yöntemleri detaylı birliteratür taraması yapılarak incelenmiştir. Taşıt kaynaklı açığa çıkan egzozemisyonlarını azaltmak için kullanılan en güncel ve teknolojik sistemleraraştırılmıştır. 
dc.descriptionExhaust emissions produced from internalcombustion engines are one of the most damage to environmental and humanhealth. Exhaust emissions generated from motored vehicles with the rapidincrease in the number of vehicles in the world causes to serious problems.Inability to control the exhaust emissions to the atmosphere will cause theworld to become uninhabitable. At this point, researchers and enginemanufacturers tend to develop the systems to reduce exhaust emissions becauseof increasingly limiting the exhaust emission standards. In this study exhaustemissions arose from motor vehicle were described and methods of reducing thesegases were investigated making detailed literature review. The latest andtechnological systems used for reducing exhaust emissions produced from motoredvehicle were investigated.
