Ülkemizde doğalgaz, şehir hatlarında ve sanayialanında kullanılmaya başlandığı 1988 yılından itibaren altyapı ve iç tesisatkonusunda oldukça gelişme göstermiştir. Doğalgazın kullanılmaya başlamasındansonra özellikle ısıtma ve tesisatçılık sektörlerinde yeni gereksinimler veistihdam alanları ortaya çıkmıştır. Doğalgaz tesisatları ve gaz tüketimcihazlarının sayısındaki artış ile birlikte alanında uzman elemanlara ihtiyaçartmıştır. Doğalgaz teknik şartnameleri ve sektör için gerekli yetkilendirmekoşulları, bu yeni akımın başlangıcında titizlikle belirlendiğinigöstermektedir. Tehlikeli madde olarak değerlendirilen doğal gazın tesisatçılığıve projelendirilmesi konusunda makine mühendislerine yetki verilmiştir. Tesisatuygulama işlemleri konusunda ise iç ve dış tesisat ustalığı (kaynak ve dişlibağlantı) konusunda sertifikalı usta olma koşulu vardır. Ancak doğalgaz projeçizimi, gaz kaçak kontrol elemanı ve cihaz bakım/onarım işleri gibi pek çokkonuda yetki boşluğu bulunmaktadır. Mesleki yeterliliğe sahip doğalgazteknikerleri söz konusu faaliyetler için nitelikli elaman olarak tanımlanmamıştır.Yaptığımız bu çalışmada, doğalgaz sektöründe faaliyet gösteren kurum vekuruluşların faaliyetlerinde doğalgaz teknikerinin yapması gereken pek çok işolduğu ve yetkilendirilmesi ile birlikte bağlı bulundukları iş yerlerinde hizmetkalitesini önemli ölçüde artıracağı anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca kamu kurum vekuruluşlarında tesisat bakım, onarım ve kontrol gibi konularda ihtiyaçlarıkarşılayabileceği görülmüştür. Böylece, mesleki yeterliliğin sağlanması ilebirlikte söz konusu faaliyetlerde bilgi ve beceri bakımından yetersizistihdamın önüne geçilmiş olacaktır.
Since 1988, when natural gas has started to be used incity lines and industrial areas in our country, it has improved considerably interms of infrastructure and interior installation. After the natural gasstarted to be used, new requirements and employment areas emerged, especiallyin the heating and plumbing sectors. Withthe increase in the number of natural gas installations and gas consumptiondevices, the need for specialized personnel has increased. Natural gas technical specifications and the necessary authorizationconditions for the sector indicate that this new trend has been meticulouslydetermined at the outset. Thereis a requirement to be a certified master in interior and exterior plumbing(welding and threaded connection) as regards installation process operations.However, there is a lack of authority in manysubjects such as natural gas project drawing, gas leakage control and devicemaintenance/repair work. Naturalgas technicians with professional competence are not defined as qualifiedemployees for such activities. In this work we have done, it is seen that thereare a lot of jobs that natural gas technicians need to do in the activities ofthe institutions operating in the natural gas sector and that they willincrease the quality of service significantly in the workplaces they areaffiliated with their authorization and also they can meet the needs such asinstallation maintenance, repair and control in public institutions.Thus, with the provision of vocational qualification,inadequate employment in terms of knowledge and skills will be avoided in suchactivities.
