dc.descriptionİş Makineleri Operatörlüğü Programı; iş makinelerinin yoğun olarak kullanıldığıinşaat, ormancılık, maden, petrol ve doğalgaz gibi sektörlere teknikerdüzeyinde, teknik olarak nitelikli, bilgili ve yetenekli personel yetiştirmeçabası içerisinde olan bir programdır. Bu çalışmada, ülkemizde iş makinelerioperatörlüğü programının önemi vurgulanmış ve üretim sanayisine olan etkileriirdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca sektörün günümüzdeki durumu ve geleceğihakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İş makineleri sektörünün büyümesine bağlı olarakçok sayıda iş makinesi operatörüne, imalat, satış ve servis hizmetlerindeçalışacak nitelikli elemanlara duyulan ihtiyaç her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bubulgular ışığında iş makineleri operatörlüğü programının büyük bir öneme sahipve gelecek vaat eden bir program olduğu görülmektedir. Ülkemizin diğersektörlere bağlı olarak iş makineleri sektöründeki büyüme hızı göz önünealındığında iş makinelerini kullanacak nitelikli personel ihtiyacı hızlaartacağı tahmin edilmektedir. Bu nedenle ülkemiz için hedeflenen ekonomikbüyümenin gerçekleşmesine katkıda bulunmak amacıyla bu ihtiyacın hızlı birşekilde giderilmeye çalışılması gerekmektedir. 
dc.descriptionThe objective of theHeavy Equipment Operator Program is to provide training for the students who will be employed in theconstruction, forestry, mining, oil and gas industries. Graduates of theprogram will be technically qualified,knowledgeable and skilled. In this study, the importance of the Heavy EquipmentOperator Program is emphasized and its impacts on related industries areinvestigated. Moreover, required information about its today situation andfuture of the heavy equipment industry is supplied. Depending on growth inheavy equipment industry there is growing the need for qualified person who employed as an operatoror works for maintenance, repair, and sales and after sales service ofthese heavy equipment vehicles day by day. In the light of these findings, itcan be said that Heavy Equipment Operator Program has gained more importanceand it seems to be a promising program. In Turkey, when taking into account thegrowth rate of the heavy equipment industry it is estimated that the need for heavy equipment operators will increaserapidly. Therefore, in order to contribute to our country’s economicdevelopment, it is required to increase the numberof technical staff in heavy equipment industry by Heavy Equipment OperatorPrograms.
