| dc.description | Breeding studies planneddetailed and clearly is a prerequisite for success in accordance with theexamination of livestock breeding systems. The study schedule is named“breeding program”. The aim of breeding program is increasing the efficiency ofanimal products and improving the quality of the product. The breeding programof a certain population is started with the determination and analysis ofvariation in terms with the considered productivity and the bulls having therequired properties are seperated as studs. Thus, these individuals in the herdwill be given the opportunity to give more offspring than others. Selection of stud bull is the most important factor in developinglivestock sector. Stud herds transfer high genetic characteristics to theoffspring, that makes the herd more efficient so that the country andmanagements can make a profit. In this process, regarding the selectioncriteria and to be known how to evaluate these criterias, is very important, inselection of stud bulls. Especially, selected semen forartificial insemination, must be analyzed for its carried characteristics andmost importantly the suitability to the herd should be determined. In thisreview, methods for selection of stud bulls and how the evaluation should bemade to the semen, is tried to be explained. | |
| dc.description | Çeşitliyetiştirme biçimlerinin incelenmesi doğrultusundaıslah çalışmalarının ayrıntılı ve anlaşılır bir biçimde planlanması veyönetilmesi başarının ön koşuludur. Bu planlamayla uygulamaya konulacak çalışmatakvimine “ıslah programı” adı verilir. Hayvan ıslahının amacı, tüketiciyesunulacak olan hayvansal ürünlerin üretiminde verimliliğin arttırılması ve ürünkalitesinin yükseltilmesidir. Islah programlarında mevcut populasyonun ıslahına, üzerindedurulan verim/verimler bakımından varyasyonun tesbiti ve analizi ilebaşlanmakta ve istenen özelliklere sahip olan boğalardamızlık olarak ayrılmaktadır. Böylelikle sürü içindeki bu bireylere, diğerlerine göre daha fazla dölverme olanağı sağlanır. Gelişmekte olan hayvancılıksektöründe en önemli unsurlardan biri damızlık hayvanların seçilmesidir. Yüksek verim potansiyelinesahip damızlık sürülerin genetik kapasitelerini yavrularına aktarması ileilgili karakterde işletme ve ülke bazında karlılık artmaktadır. Bu süreçte damızlık seçiminde bazıkriterlerin göz önünde bulundurulması ve bu kriterlerin nasıl değerlendirilmeyealınacağının bilinmesi büyük önem arz etmektedir. Özellikle sunitohumlamada kullanılacak damızlık boğa adayının spermalarının ne gibiözellikler taşıdığı iyi analiz edilmeli ve en önemlisi uygulanacak sürüyeuygunluğunun belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede damızlıkbir boğanın hangi yöntemlerle seçildiği ve kullanıma sunulan spermaların nasıldeğerlendirilmesi gerektiği anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. | |
