dc.descriptionto now, 12 snail species have been determinted as a intermediate host (Helicella candicans, Helicopsis krynickii, Trochoidea pyramiadata,Monacha carthusiana, Cochlicella acuta, Helicella itala, Cernuella virgata,Helicopsis protea, Helicella obvia, Helix aspersa, Helix lucorum,  Chondrus tournefortianus)  in Turkey. Unfortunately,classification mistakes are made by the fact that the host, intermediate hostand parasites are from separate groups of animals. Particularly in relation tointermediate hosts , these are:  Helicella candicans is synonimof Xerolenta obvia. Probably theresearchers have noted snail belong to this species  from old and invalid literatures. Its samefor the Helicella obvia, its synonimof the Xerolenta obvia. Helicopsiskrynickii, Its synonim of the Xeropictakrynickii; Monacha carthusiana  is also synonim of  Monacha claustralis. Helicellaitala,  never has been found in Turkey.Probably reason of only morphological description. Because this speciesdistributing in western Europe. Helicopsisprotea never has been found in Turkey.  Probablyreason of only morphological description. Helicella obvia is synonim of  Xerolentaobvia.
