| dc.description | In addition to meeting the needs of the citizens of the country, themanufacturing sector is also a basic requirement for foreign trade balance. Therefore, thedevelopments in this sector give direct direction to the economy of the country. In thisstudy, food and textiles were considered as two important manufacturing sub-sectors andthe financial data for 2014, 2015 and 2016 of these two sectors were compared throughthe ratio analysis. Since the financial statements are published on a sector-based basisrather than on a business-based basis, sectoral data are obtained from the sector balancesheets issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. In addition, each sub-sectorhas been evaluated and compared on the basis of the ratios determined separately, inlarge, medium and small scale according to the size of the enterprises. As a result of thefindings, small-scale enterprises have generally experienced a more difficult period.Short-term debt payment difficulties in the food sector and long-term collection ofreceivables in the textile sector are seen as the main problems. | |
| dc.description | İmalat sektörü, bir ülkedeki vatandaşların kendi ihtiyacını karşılaması yanındadış ticaret dengesi için de temel gereksinim konumundadır. Dolayısıyla bu sektöre aitgelişmeler, ülke ekonomisine doğrudan yön vermektedir. Bu çalışmada iki önemli imalatalt sektörü olan gıda ve tekstil ele alınmış ve bu iki sektörün 2014, 2015 ve 2016 yıllarınaait finansal verileri, oran analizi aracılığıyla karşılaştırılmıştır. Mali tabloların işletmebazlı değil de sektör bazlı bir şekilde sunulması nedeniyle sektörlere ait veriler, TürkiyeCumhuriyet Merkez Bankası tarafından yayımlanan sektör bilançolarından elde edilmişolup her bir alt sektör, işletme büyüklüklerine göre büyük, orta ve küçük ölçekli olmaküzere ayrı olarak belirlenen oranlar üzerinden değerlendirmeye tabi tutulupkarşılaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda küçük ölçekli işletmelerin genel olarakdaha zor bir dönem geçirdiği görülürken gıda sektöründe kısa vadeli borç ödeme güçlüğüyaşanması, tekstil sektöründe ise alacak tahsil süresinin uzun olması temel sorunlar olarakdikkat çekmektedir. | |
