ÖZETBu makale kalkınma iktisadı alanındaki çalışmalarıyla bilinen Hollis Chenery’nin (1918 –1994) Turkish Investment and Economic Development (1953) başlığını taşıyan raporuna ilişkinkısa bir değerlendirme sunmaktadır. Sözü edilen rapor, Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk ekonomisininyapısına dair önemli tespitlerde bulunuyor olmasına rağmen, dönemin Menderes hükümetitarafından beğenilmemiş ve dağıtımı yasaklanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Kalkınma iktisadı, Hollis Chenery, Turkish Investment andEconomic Developmet (1953), Menderes Hükümeti ABSTRACTThe paper provides a short assessment of a report, Turkish Investment and EconomicDevelopment (1953), by Hollis Chenery, a well-known scholar in the field of developmenteconomics.
