| dc.description | Kedive köpekler ev veya bahçe içlerinde beslendiklerinden östrus sırasındakidavranışları sorun olabilmektedir. Bir batında fazla sayıda yavru yapabilmeleri,gebelik ve doğum sırasında karşılaşılan sorunlar nedeniyle çoğunlukla gebekalmaları istenmemektedir. Uzun zamandır kedi ve köpek gibi ev hayvanlarındacerrahi kısırlaştırma tek güvenilir ve kalıcı kontrasepsiyon yöntemi olarakkullanılmaktadır. Ancak bu yöntemin geri dönüşümsüz olması ve cerrahi müdahalegerektirmesi önemli bir dezavantajdır. Bu derlemede köpek ve kedide üremenindenetlenmesinde yeni bir seçenek olarak kullanılan gonadotropin releasinghormon (GnRH) agonistleri hakkında bilgi sunulacaktır. | |

Theowners of bitch and queen are generally unwilling to reproduction because ofhigher litter size in one whelping, risks of pregnancy and parturition. Neutering has been widely used in the sterilizationof dogs and cats for a long time. However, surgical spaying procedure hasimportant advantages like surgical risks and irreversibility. In this review,we aimed to present an information about new alternative control ofreproduction in bitch and queen with GnRH agonists. | |
