| dc.description | Çocuğunhaklara sahip olduğu düşüncesi günümüzde önem kazanmış ve doğası gereği çocuğunkorunmaya ihtiyaç duyabileceği kabul edilmiştir. Çocuğun korunması işlevininetkin biçimde yerine getirilmesinde okul da rol üstlenmektedir. Bu çalışmanınamacı, çocukların ihmal ve istismardan korunmasında okulun rolüne ilişkinöğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan görüşmeformuyla, çocuk hakları konusunda eğitim almış sekiz öğretmenden oluşan çalışmagrubuyla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Çocuğun ihmal ve istismardan korunmasındaöğretmen görüşlerine göre okul paydaşlarından okul yönetimlerinin,öğretmenlerin, velilerin ve sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının rolleri bulunmaktadır.Okul yönetimlerinin çocuğun ihmal ve istismardan korunmasına yönelik öğrenciyive veliyi tanımaya yönelik çalışmalar yaptıkları ve bu konuda bilgilendiricietkinlikler düzenledikleri ifade edilmektedir. Çocukların ihmal ve istismardankorunmasında öğretmenlerin rolleri; ihmal ve istismar olaylarını bildirimyükümlülüğü, öğrencilerle güven ve sevgiye dayalı iletişim kurma, öğrencileri,velileri ve meslektaşlarını bu konularda bilgilendirme ve ihmal-istismarkonusunda yeterli bilgiye sahip olma şeklinde sıralanmaktadır. Velinin rolleriise öncelikle çocuğuna ihmal ve istismarda bulunmaması ve çocuğunu bu konudabilinçlendirmesi iken, sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının rolleri ise kurumkorumasındaki çocuklarının takibinin dikkatli ve özenli biçimde yapılması,öğretmenlere, velilere ve öğrencilere bilgilendirici seminerlerin düzenlenmesive öğretmenlerle işbirliği içerisinde çalışılması şeklinde belirtilmektedir. | |
| dc.description | The idea thatthe child has rights, has gained importance today and it is accepted that thechild may need protection. The school also plays a very effective role in termsof perform the duty of child protection. The aim of this study is to reveal theviews of teachers about the role of the school in protection of the children fromneglect and abuse. Interview form was prepared on this purpose, interviews wereconducted with the study group consisting of eight teachers, who attendedseminars or courses about children's rights. School administrators, teachers,parents and social workers have a role in the protection of children fromneglect and abuse according to teachers opinions. It is stated that the schooladministrators have conducted researches to get to know the students andparents and have organized informative activities in order to protect thechildren from neglect and abuse. The roles of teachers in protecting childrenfrom neglect and abuse are listed as follows: The obligation to reportincidents of neglect and abuse and getting students, parents and colleagues toinform about these issues. While the role of the parents is not neglect orabuse their child and raise their child's awareness on this subject, the roleof social workers are to ensure that the children who are under institutionalprotection are being carefully monitored and to organize informative seminarsto teachers, parents and students. | |
